Spaces

Spaces group related tasks and files in one place. Keep work for Sales, Marketing, or a launch together without mixing it into everything else in your workspace.

Desktop and web app

Organize tasks and files together

Create a space from the sidebar whenever you want a dedicated home for a client, launch, trip, or any ongoing thread of work. Tasks can belong to a space, library files can be added to one, and Senra can suggest the right space when new work clearly fits an existing project.

Each space has its own task list and file list, so you can focus on one initiative without losing sight of the rest of your workspace.

Built for your business

This was a build-for-business week. Senra can now connect to the tools small teams actually run on, and you can keep business and personal life in separate workspaces tied together by a redesigned home. Working with Senra also feels more live: you can talk to a task while it's still running and watch a replay of anything it did in a browser.

Integrations

Connect the tools your business runs on

You can now connect QuickBooks, Stripe, Gusto, Jobber, Granola, and Attio. Senra can pull from and act on your books and invoices, payments and customers, payroll and team info, jobs and quotes, meeting notes, and your CRM, all from the same place you already talk to it. Connect any of them from Settings and Senra can start handling the busywork around them.

Desktop and web app

Talk to a task while it runs

When Senra is working on something in the background, you don't have to wait for it to finish. You can send follow-ups mid-task to nudge or correct it, queue messages while it's busy, and stop it instantly to change direction. Sending and stopping feel immediate now instead of laggy.

Watch what Senra did in the browser

When a task involves browsing the web, Senra now captures a video replay and hands it back when the work is done, so you can see exactly what happened instead of taking its word for it.

A real home, and business workspaces

A new home brings your overview, routines, integrations, skills, and team members into one place, with tabs so you can keep several things open at once. You can also set up a dedicated business workspace: give Senra your company website and it reads it to suggest the integrations and setup that fit what you do.

Skills

You can now see and build skills, reusable playbooks Senra follows for recurring work, so you can teach it once and have the same job done consistently every time.

Email

Outlook folders and categories

Outlook now works the way Gmail already did: Senra can see your folders and categories, move messages into the right folder, and create folders when it needs to. Heads-ups about incoming mail also include the full thread now, so Senra has the whole picture before it flags anything.

Miscellaneous

Performance and reliability

A batch of quieter changes you'll feel more than see: background work and the live view of what Senra is doing are more dependable, tasks recover better after a hiccup, and Senra holds onto your context more reliably on iMessage.

Small touches

The home task list gets a mark-all-read button and cleaner scrolling, web browsing scrolls more precisely, and Senra no longer double-replies when you set a reminder.

Multiple inboxes and workspaces

This week is about giving Senra more room to work across your life. You can now connect more than one email inbox and keep separate personal and business workspaces, so the two stay cleanly apart while Senra still handles both.

Email

Connect multiple inboxes

Senra now works with more than one email account at once. Connect several inboxes (up to three across Gmail and Outlook), and Senra keeps them straight: replies, drafts, and searches go to the right inbox on their own, and every draft shows which address it is coming from. You manage them all from a new Accounts area.

Workspaces

Personal and business workspaces

You can now keep more than one workspace and switch between them, the way you would separate a personal and a work account. Pick personal or business when you create one, and each gets its own setup so Senra fits that context. Switch anytime from the sidebar.

Desktop app

Jump back to the latest message

Main chat now has a scroll-to-bottom button that shows up when you scroll away during a long conversation. One click brings you back to the newest message, and it gently pulses while Senra is still replying.

Miscellaneous

Steadier follow-ups on running work

Checking in on or redirecting a task that is already running is more reliable now, so asking Senra for a status update or steering it mid-task lands consistently.

Gmail and Workspace actions

This week's two big shifts are both about what Senra can actually do for you in Google. It can organize your Gmail directly, and create or edit Drive files, Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

Email

Gmail actions

Ask Senra to label, archive, move, or trash a Gmail thread and it handles it. Senra can also create and manage labels. Useful when you're triaging your inbox through chat instead of switching apps.

Integrations

Google Workspace

Senra can now create and edit Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, share Drive files with people, create folders, and move files to trash. Calendar events also come back cleanly so a follow-up message can update or delete the event Senra just made.

Desktop app

Cleaner activity view

When Senra works, related tool calls (like several email reads in a row) are grouped into one row, reasoning is easier to follow, and in-flight tool counts are visible at a glance.

Settings redesign

The settings page has been rebuilt around clean Account, Preferences, Memory, Billing, and Usage sections.

Miscellaneous

Performance and reliability

A few quieter wins: rapid chat sends are paced so they don't churn, and connecting GitHub now works correctly when you have the Senra app installed on more than one account.

Computer use, experimental (Coming Soon!)

Behind a new Experimental toggle in Settings, Senra will be able to drive your Mac directly: clicking, typing, scrolling, and reading windows you have open. You can even switch Mac spaces and Senra will keep working. More on this soon.

Focus and multitask chat modes

Based on early user feedback, we've decided to introduce focus and multitask modes plus a proper chat queue to Senra's desktop and web app. This will make working with Senra feel more deliberate, while also letting you parallelize simpler tasks. Memory has also received a substantial upgrade: Senra will now remember small details over long time periods more reliably and has a stronger retrieval system.

Desktop app

Focus and multitask modes

Desktop chat now has two ways to work. Focus keeps everything inline so you can follow what Senra is doing step by step, which is the right mode when you want to stay close to the work. Multitask lets you spin off background agents work and keep the conversation moving while the work happens. Focus mode is now the default on web and desktop, and on iMessage, Senra multitasks to keep your conversation moving.

You can now also queue messages, and make Senra multitask on the work when it makes sense.

iMessage Terseness

Early users complained that Senra sent too many message bubbles and long messages on iMessage. From now on, Senra will send fewer bubbles per response and be more concise while maintaining an appropriate level of detail in its responses.

Memory

Senra's memory system is greatly improved. In the past it often forgot small details, such as a colleague's email or an important detail about your work preferences. We've overhauled how Senra curates and updates its memories to make it much more thorough by letting Senra reflect on its conversations with the you. Memory search is now needed far less frequently as Senra remembers more by default, although, this retrieval system has also received an overhaul.

Miscellaneous

Performance Improvements

A few quieter changes you'll feel even if you don't see them: file operations should feel noticeably faster thanks to improvements to Senra's cloud computer. Also, resumable streams now have fewer visual bugs in certain edge cases.

Smoother GitHub setup

Connecting GitHub now goes through a cleaner install flow for the Senra GitHub app.

Cleaner Background Agent Traces

When Senra is using tools (running searches, working with files, etc.), the background agent trace is easier to read and less noisy.

Appearance

Both light and dark mode have nicer, more refined color palettes.
